Speak Up and Share Your Story

Sometimes I see posts that make me pause — like the one I read this morning that said, “When your life starts coming together, keep your mouth shut.”
Well… I don’t agree.
In fact, I’m using my platform today to tell you: Speak up and share your story every chance you get!
We live in a world where people love to tell you to “move in silence,” as if being proud of how far you’ve come is something to be ashamed of. But I’ve learned that silence can sometimes become a prison. It keeps people from hearing what they need most — hope.
Your voice carries power. Your story carries healing. And your transparency carries freedom — not just for you, but for someone else who’s still fighting their way through the same storm you’ve already survived.
⸻
There’s Value in Your Testimony
Maybe you’ve walked through the loss of a loved one.
Maybe you’ve battled with anxiety, depression, or the weight of addiction.
Maybe you’ve experienced physical healing or emotional growth that you never thought was possible.
Whatever your journey looks like, there’s value in every piece of it. Sharing your accomplishments isn’t showing off — it’s showing others that God still works miracles and that we do recover.
When you tell your story, you aren’t bragging — you’re bearing witness. You’re declaring that even when life tried to break you, grace rebuilt you. You’re reminding yourself — and the world — that God takes broken pieces and turns them into something beautiful.
⸻
Don’t Let Fear Silence You
Let’s be honest — there will always be people watching from the sidelines. Some will celebrate you, and others will wait for you to fall again. But those aren’t your people.
Your people are the ones who see your light and are inspired to find their own. Your people are the ones who hear your story and realize that they, too, can rise from the ashes.
So don’t let the enemy silence you with fear, doubt, or shame. Don’t let your past convince you that your voice doesn’t matter. Because it does. Your story has power. It carries light. And that light might be the very thing that leads someone else out of the dark.
⸻
Say It Loud: WE DO RECOVER!
So today, I challenge you — speak up. Tell your story. Testify about your comeback, your healing, your growth, and your grace.
Because the moment you start sharing, chains start breaking — not just yours, but for others who are listening and learning that they can make it, too.
You’ve come too far to be quiet now.
Say it loud. Say it proud.
✨ WE DO RECOVER! ✨
